Every year the Furniture Program hosts a resident artist, who works within the graduate studio for a semester or a year. This person is usually an emerging artist, who can add vitality to our studio community and we provide studio space to these artists.

Visiting Artists come for anywhere between a day and a week: these artists present lectures, demonstrations, or participate short-term residencies. The programs are funded by the SDSU Art Council, the Student Furniture Design Cooperative, or by private support.
